• Govt Exams : “HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH S.S.S.C” was held on 10th Nov, 2019. Keeping all the secrecy and security under Session court judge of Faridabad Court. It was conducted in twenty two rooms for 799 students. After verifying physical infrastructure and availability of resources, DAVIM was approved as centre for conducting Examination by Chandigarh Court.
Most of the working for the Examination day was coordinated via Email while the Installation of cameras and Jammers was done at site by experts of their field. Under the vigilance of Haryana Police and under Centre No-711 the examination was conducted by team of 40 persons.
• Yuva prarna pratyogita was organized under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari (Faridabad centre) on 1st Oct, 2019.
Vivekananda Kendra is a nationalist spiritual organisation. closely affiliated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and RamaKrishna Mission, it is based on the thought-school of Swami Vivekananda. It was founded in Kanyakumari in 1972 but now has centres in various cities since then.
In this quiz DAVIM stood second in the ranking. The examination was followed by a workshop organized by Mr. Harish Rawat on 5th Oct and Vishv Bandhutv Parv on 9th Oct at YMCA, Faridabad.
• Road Safety Traffic Quiz : DAVIM under the INSTITUTE OF DRIVING & TRAFFIC RESEARCH (Haryana) has been organizing Road Safety Traffic Quiz in its premises. The objective behind is to create awareness about road safety and motivate students for following the Road safety rule. All students are given this test in their classrooms at the same time. Test sheets are collected after one hour and team of evaluators sit together to check these sheets. Name and details of three top performing students are then sent via email. These students face the next level of test at state level.
In 2018, one of our BCA student 5th sem Vikas Kaushik had cleared IIIrd level and at district level he was awarded at Dynasty International school.
• IIT Bombay (Spoken Tutorial) : Being an IT person and understanding the advantages of Internet in fast distribution of information following is undertaken by Dean, Examination
1. Training : IT Bombay Online Courses have benefitted both students and faculty. The faculty of DAVIM had registered for the training program conducted online and on weekdays at Dronacharya Institute of Engineering. After 6 weeks program based on the performance of quizzes, assignments and lecture screencasts, fourteen of them were selected for a training program at IIT Bombay Campus where financials were taken care of by IIT Bombay including flight tickets, stay and food. These members then became mentors to other registered candidates from various locations across the country.
Students have been part of the software training program available at this link . Online Training Programs were organized in specially designed Advanced Lab. Following Online training program students had appeared for Online Examination also.
2. Tests : During the training, extra MCQ tests for every subtopic were created in open source MCQ app downloaded from Internet. These extra MCQ test were given to all students irrespective of the fact that whether the student has only enrolled for the training program or for the online tests.
