ADMISSION PROCEDURE AND REGULATIONS
- All admissions are provisional, subject to approval by M.D. University, Rohtak. THE PRINCIPAL RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO GRANT ADMISSION TO ANY STUDENT WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER.
- Candidates seeking admission must fulfill the eligibility conditions of that particular class. The institute will not be responsible if the admission of any student is not confirmed by M.D. University, Rohtak. The M.D. University rules regarding admissions will be applicable to students and if any change is made by the university at any stage in the said rules, it will be binding on the students.
- Students from the Central Board of School Education, Haryana, or other Boards and Universities recognized by M.D. University can be admitted to the class for which they are eligible under rules if they satisfy the conditions laid down by the University regarding their eligibility and admission.
- Aadhar Number, Mobile Number, Photo and Date of Birth certificate are mandatory for every student as the same is required by the UGC for uploading the results of students for online verification. Student himself/herself will be responsible for providing the correct documents/ information.
- The students will have to attend lectures in theory and practical as per the requirements prescribed in the ordinances.
- Relaxations in eligibility conditions for SC Category Candidates of Haryana only: The SC candidates of Haryana shall be granted reduction/relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility conditions in all the courses in the marks required for general category, Reservations or relaxations, if any, are available to the reserved candidates of Haryana only, as per reservation policy of the State.
The following categories of students are not to be admitted
- Refund of Fee in case of Admission Withdrawal Candidates who have compartment/re-appear in one or more papers in the qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission in 1st semester of the course in any case.
- Candidates who have failed in a university examination are not to be readmitted. Such candidates may reappear in the examination as ex-students.
- Students who have an inexcusable break in their studies.
- Students who indulged in undesirable activities/gross misconduct during the previous session in any other college or in this college.
Refund of Fee in case of Admission Withdrawal
- If a candidate after having been admitted to the first year of a course, leaves the course without attending any class and he/she applies for refund of fee within 7 days of the date of admission, the fee paid by her/him shall be refunded after deducting Rs.1000/-
- If a candidate after having been admitted to the first year of a course withdraws his/her candidature after 7 days and the seat vacated by a candidate is not filled up, the fee paid by him/her would not be refunded.
To be Eligible for University Examinations
- For the students of all Courses, eligibility conditions for appearing in exams will be as per M.D. University Norms.
- A student should have obtained marks according to university rules and will have to appear in special test in case of failure to obtain minimum marks in internal exams.
- A student must have attended at least 75% of the total lectures/practical/tutorials in each subject. For genuine reason, the Principal is empowered to condone shortage in attendance according to university norms. The Principal has right to detain the roll number of students according to university norms if he/she does not fulfill norms of attendance and marks in house tests.
Note: As per the M.D. University regulations, students who do not fulfill the above conditions, cannot appear in the final/semester end examination.
Rules Common for all Students (New as well as Existing)
The applicant must study the fee-structure before signing and submitting application for admission to a course.
- The security will be refunded in the month of November in the next session of the year of course completion.
- Security not withdrawn within one year of last examination appeared shall lapse automatically.
- Any enhancement in fee and funds by the M. D. University / Managing Committee / College authorities at any stage shall be binding on the students of all classes. The proposed revised fee structure, if any, will be notified to the students.
Leave Rules
- Leave for absence from the College should be applied for when absolutely necessary.
- Leave should be secured personally before it is availed of. In case of serious illness, the leave application should be submitted immediately on returning to the college.
- Leave application should be signed by the applicant's father/guardian.
- A Medical certificate should be attached with the leave application in case of long illness.
- Leave up to 6 days will be granted by the teacher in-charge of various classes and for a period of more than 6 days by the Principal.
