The Department of Business Studies at DAVIM was established with the inception of the institute in 1997. The mission of the department is aligned with that of the institute and it strives to reach across the world to effortlessly optimize potential by imbibing the best of Values and Beliefs of East and West rooted in the Philosophy of Dayanand Anglo Vedic culture in the field of management. Global change is transforming everything around us and it calls for something new. So DAVIM Management Department is committed to thought leadership with a deep understanding of business. Quality content and process of management education are determined through constant innovation and adaptation of the curriculum and pedagogy to rapidly changing national and global growth perspectives and corporate environment. Over the years, the department has been engaged in various teaching, training (FDPs & MDPS) and research programmes producing young managers, who now occupy prestigious managerial positions in the corporate sector. The approach to pedagogy combines fieldwork, case studies, interaction with alumni and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. The intent is to encourage intellectual curiosity and open minds to the adventure of ideas.
MBA is a two-year regular degree programme affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand university, Rohtak .The programme is the flagship course of DAVIM and follows the curriculum designed by university along with practical exposure to the corporate world.
As a mandatory part of course curriculum and to educate students about the integration between the management education and its applicability in business world, every student has to undergo summer internship which is spread over 6-8 weeks. Students get an opportunity to work with reputed companies in various sectors and can choose topics of their internship as per their interest and specialization such as Marketing, Finance ,Human Resource management, Information Technology and International Business.
Eligibility of Admission: Graduation from any discipline with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.

To empower our MBA graduates with better employability chances and for integrated development of our students, the department has introduced a number of short term certificate courses like GST, Advance-Excel, TALLY, IIT Bombay spoken tutorial Module, Campus to Corporate, SAP & Digital Marketing over and above the prescribed curriculum. For the all-round development of students, they are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities also.
To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and skills required in industry, the department regularly invites industrial/professional body members, senior academicians and also meritorious alumni to enhance the knowledge base and expose students along with faculty with challenges and opportunities in industries in current scenario, along with use of latest technologies.
BBA is a three years regular degree course with semester system of examination. The main objective of this course is to impart the analytical and problem solving abilities to students.The curriculum has been structured keeping in mind the objectives of job orientation and also to give broad knowledge of functional areas of an organization and their interconnection by blending management and computer skills.This program is designed to provide knowledge and skills, both functional and integrative, in the field of management.
The course gives an overview of the various aspects related to launching and managing business effectively.
Admission to the course shall be open to a candidate who has passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) from the Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani/C.B.S.E. or an equivalent examination recognized by M.D. University with minimum 45% marks.

The students of BBA Department participate enthusiastically in various extra- curricular and co-curricular activities conducted by various Departments and clubs. They get chance to participate in Inter-college and Intra-college activities. There are many students who are volunteers in conducting special activities such as Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation Drive, Donation Drive for NGOs as members/cadets of Rotaract Club/NCC wing/NSS wing of DAVIM.

This degree teaches the students with various aspects that are necessary for effective business management and essential for entrepreneurs and business managers. The program gives a platform for pursuing higher studies such as MBA, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary, Cost and Work Accountancy etc. After successful completion of BBA degree, a student can look for employment in Banks, Government Agencies, Marketing Organizations, Educational Institutes, Business Consultancies, Multinational Companies, Financial Organizations, Export Companies etc.
Bachelor of Business Administration - Computer Aided Management (BBA-CAM) is a regular three years degree programme affiliated to MD University, Rohtak. It provides an opportunity to learn both business administration and computer applications. It is similar to BBA with an additional emphasis on use of information technology (IT) in management. The curriculum of BBA-CAM is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of management and computer skills to build promising leaders of the future who can manage and build powerful and robust organisations in the emerging corporate landscape.
Admission to the course shall be open to a candidate who has passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) from the Board of Education Haryana, Bhiwani/ C.B.S.E, or an equivalent examination, recognized by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak with minimum 45% marks.
Information Technology has revolutionized business practices and the BBA-CAM program is delivered in such a way so that it introduces students to IT-applications in business and industry and provide them with an integrated perspective of different functional areas of management. This program helps students to develop problem solving, decision making and leadership skills and also keeps the students abreast with latest technologies. Efficient and effective use of computer applications and management, talent acquired through case studies, role play, presentations and interactive learning facilitates the students to step in the competitive era as companies nowadays prefer multi talented candidates.

The students get to learn the core subjects of both the fields, so that he can take a suitable decision based upon his choice of subjects. Students can also take up jobs in all functional areas, be it Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Operations or Information Technology.
