Staff and students may access book availability 24/7 from anywhere. Computers of all the four library halls are well connected with Local Area Network (Star topology). The library is well equipped with more than 50,000 books, 63 periodical national and international journals, 39 weekly/monthly magazines both in physical as well as electronic form.

Following are the facilities provided by Library Department:

DELNET : ON-LINE RESOURCE REPOSITORY

DAVIM avails the services of DELNET, an online resource repository which provides an array of library services on-line. The faculty and students avail the services through library membership only. DELNET collects, stores, and disseminates information besides offering computerized services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible. DELNET'S relentless efforts in resource sharing have proved extremely effective.
It has contributed a lot towards the modernization of libraries in India.
